Valentine’s Day is fast approaching.  How can you make sure your child really feels your love on that special day and everyday?  One easy suggestion is to read a book together. One of the key benefits of reading children’s books together is to help kids develop critical thinking skills.

Critical thinking skills are crucial when it comes to problem solving and making important everyday decisions. Reading just 20 minutes a day helps children think and process information in a deeper way. The more you read with your child, the deeper their understanding becomes in reading, math and other subjects.

Here’s a great list of twelve children’s books about love for preschoolers, elementary children and parents to enjoy together!  The books will absolutely tug at your heart strings because the stories and lessons are sweet and heart-warming.
