What Is the Digital SAT?
The SAT is the standardized college admissions exam accepted by virtually every college and university in the United States. A strong SAT score can open doors to better schools, more scholarships, and stronger financial aid packages.
The Digital SAT consists of two sections: Reading and Writing, and Math. The exam lasts 2 hours and 14 minutes (134 minutes). All math questions allow calculator use. Math covers algebra, advanced math, data analysis, geometry, and trigonometry. Reading and Writing covers literature, science, and history passages.
Each section is adaptive – the second module adjusts in difficulty based on your Module 1 performance. A strong Module 1 opens the door to a higher ceiling in Module 2. The Digital SAT is taken on your own device with the Bluebook app, or on a College Board loaner device at the testing center.
Digital SAT Format

Two Things Working Together – That No One Else Offers
Most test prep companies give you one or the other. A classroom course with a live teacher. Or an app with AI practice. CTC gives you both – working together.
LIVE INSTRUCTION
Your CTC Tutor
They know the Digital SAT inside out – including how the adaptive format works. They know your student’s weak spots and they adjust instruction in real time. This is where strategy is built – and where we develop the critical thinking skills that help students on test day and in every classroom after.
BETWEEN EVERY SESSION
Your AI Coach
Works 24/7 between every session. Adapts to exactly where your student struggled, generates personalized practice questions, and explains concepts instantly. Think of it as your child’s personal AI study buddy – always available, always on their side. No waiting until next session for an answer.
The result: The result: CTC students improve 3-5x faster than traditional test prep. The certified tutor builds critical thinking and SAT strategy. The CTC AI Study Coach executes it every single day until test day.
Why CTC Students Improve Faster
Traditional test prep asks students to wait until the next class for help. CTC students never wait. Here is the difference.

Both accepted everywhere. Start with a proctored mock exam. The 1:1 consultation will help analyze results and choose the better test.
Q: What makes the Digital SAT harder than people expect?
The adaptive format catches many students off guard. Strong Module 1 performance means harder Module 2 – but a higher ceiling. Our courses specifically prepare students for this adaptive challenge.
What device does my student need for class and for the actual SAT?
For CTC class: laptop with Zoom. For the actual SAT: own device with Bluebook app, or request a College Board loaner. Recommend practicing on the same device type they plan to use test day.
